My name is Rob, and yes, I have two first-names.
Believe it or not, I’m trained as a High School History teacher.
But, I’m an exercise and nutrition coach.
Weird, right?
After graduating with a fresh degree in History and a Secondary Teaching Certification from Northern Illinois University in 2010, I had an epiphany.
I really like helping people.
Really.
Especially ones who want my help. Not that 17 year old students don’t want to learn History.
Another thing occurred to me: I’ve been learning about the form and function of the human body since my very educated mother purchased me my first encyclopedia set.
I then set out to make sure that I had the knowledge necessary in my field of passion to deliver the absolute best result to any person that I had the privilege of working with.
Every one.
I’ve been training since 2011, and added nutrition to my practice in 2015. Why not? We say that 80% of achieving a result — whether it be body composition or performance related — has to do with your nutrition.
Anyway, I want you to know that it’s my personal mission to help you — yes you, looking at this page — become the person you want to be. Not the one you acknowledge, but the person deep-down in your subconscious that you might be too embarrassed to admit.
The one hiding under the boxes.
I want to reveal that person.
Through a personalized exercise and nutrition intervention, we can do that together.
We can find the real you.
In the coming weeks, months, and years, I’m going to write — and record — things that you might find super intriguing. Things that you might find really helpful.
Other things that you might think are funny, dumb, or ridiculous.
I hope that you enjoy most of it.
Thanks for your time,
-rb3.
