I’ve been experimenting with something for a bit over two years now.
At first, I did it for 16 hours straight.
Then, 24 to 36.
I’ve worked up to doing this thing for 120 hours.
Right now, I’m at 94, and I think I’ll keep going.
I’m talking about the F-Word: Fasting.
Fasting isn’t really a diet. It’s an un-diet.
Instead of worrying about “oh, I can’t eat that thing,” or “oh, I have to eat more of this thing — it’s high in antioxidants,” you just…don’t.
Literally, you don’t do anything.
It’s the easiest — and laziest — health and weight loss strategy that there is.
I have a pretty comprehensive article on fasting here.
My challenge for you, should you accept it, is to join in on the Kion Fasting Challenge, January 7th – 11th. Register by following the link above!
By registering, you’ll get a free “Fasting Decoded” guide by Ben Greenfield, which will help to answer more of your questions, and will help you determine the strategy that is right for you.
You might start with 12 hours. You might start with 12 days. Be smart.
Lastly, I won’t be joining you. Not because I don’t like you, but because I started early.
If you’re in, send me a message on Instagram or a text at 847.807.5361.
If you have more questions and need support, be sure to join the Kion Facebook group.
As always, I’m not a doctor. This is not to be construed as medical advice. I’m just a guy who has a lot of weird interests, and figured I’d share those with the world.
If you’re interested in personalized advice, shoot me a text at 847.807.5361, message me on Instagram, or explore what coaching might look like for you here.
Let’s get strong, healthy, and happy.
Let’s do this thing.
Love,
Robert.
